The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bentonville receives mixed reviews, with recent praise highlighting exceptional front desk service and a comfortable stay. However, there are recurring concerns regarding staff behavior, cleanliness issues, and inconsistent service, particularly related to guest interactions and hotel facilities. Recent reviews indicate a decline in service quality compared to previous stays.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel others should be aware of it. As I know this is a popular hotel for baseball families to stay at. They did not like baseball teams being there at all and made that clear on multiple occasions. Staff was constantly yelling at kids from every team and organization that was there. We were walking on egg shells the entire time. Our baseball team stayed at this hotel from May 29-31. On Friday evening, several parents and families gathered in the lobby bar/lounge area to watch an important college baseball game featuring our local university. We were purchasing drinks from the bar, our children had sodas purchased there as well, and everyone was seated and behaving appropriately. The bartender was initially friendly and attentive. As more members of our group joined us, there were still plenty of open seats available throughout the lounge. No one was standing around, crowding the area, or preventing staff from doing their jobs. Our children were quietly sitting at a table watching the game and were not being disruptive in any way. After about 30 minutes, the bartender suddenly became visibly frustrated, threw her hands up, and loudly announced that the area was over capacity and that no one else could come in. The problem was that no one else was trying to come in, and there were still empty seats available. What happened next was what truly upset us. She walked over to our children and loudly told them to leave. These were children who had been sitting quietly watching a baseball game with their parents nearby. When we informed her that they were our kids and asked whether there was a policy or legal reason they couldn’t be there, she admitted there wasn’t. Instead, she stated that she simply didn’t like having them there because she felt she couldn’t move around as easily. At no point was anyone waiting for service. Everyone had already been taken care of, and our group was spending money at the bar. We specifically chose to stay at the hotel to watch the game so our kids could go straight to bed afterward since we had early baseball games the next morning. The game was only available on ESPN+, making the hotel one of the few convenient places for us to watch. Being told to leave is one thing. Being yelled at is another. Having our children yelled at for quietly sitting and watching a game was completely unacceptable and unnecessary. Our entire group closed out our tabs and left because of the way we were treated. The hotel itself was nice, but hospitality is about how guests are treated. Unfortunately, this interaction left a lasting negative impression and was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had at a hotel.I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel others should be aware of it. I had a pretty stressful situation when I arrived because my reservation had somehow been lost through a third-party booking company, and for a while I honestly wasn’t sure if everything was going to get worked out. Thankfully, Evan and Amy at the front desk were absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked in, they stayed calm, professional, patient, and genuinely helpful the entire time. Instead of brushing the issue off, they went above and beyond to help me figure everything out. They even helped get the third-party company on the phone and worked through the issue step by step until everything was resolved. What stood out most was how reassuring they were throughout the whole process. Traveling can already be stressful, and they gave me total peace of mind with how kind, composed, and efficient they were. You could tell they truly cared about helping me and making sure I was taken care of. Customer service like that is hard to find these days. Evan and Amy completely turned what could have been a terrible experience into a really positive one. Because of them, I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the area. Huge thanks to both of them for going above and beyond!

As a longtime Hilton Diamond member for over 20 years and someone who travels extensively as an executive, I experience many hotels across the country. Every once in a while, however, you encounter a team member who truly reminds you why loyalty to a brand matters. My recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bentonville was excellent overall, but I want to specifically recognize Diana at the front desk for delivering exceptional service. During the stress of a busy travel schedule, I unfortunately left my computer and watch in my room while rushing to the airport. When I realized the mistake, I immediately contacted the hotel. Diana acted with incredible urgency and professionalism. She quickly coordinated with housekeeping, located my belongings, and personally ensured they were brought down to the lobby so I could retrieve them before departing. Her calm professionalism, initiative, and willingness to go above and beyond for a guest made what could have been a major travel disaster completely manageable. Moments like this are exactly why I have remained a loyal Hilton Diamond member for more than two decades. It’s not just the properties—it’s the people who represent the brand. I sincerely hope the hotel’s management and leadership recognize Diana for the outstanding level of care she demonstrated. Employees like her are the reason Hilton continues to earn my business. Thank you again to the team at DoubleTree Bentonville for a great stay.

The nice front desk clerk is the only reason I am giving this hotel any stars at all. The room was hot at night, even after we turned the thermostat to 64F. The sink faucet leaked all over the countertop. The toilet wouldn't flush half the time. There were water stains all over the walls and worst of all my young son discovered a disgusting smear of who knows what on the couch. Gross! Do better Doubletree! This hotel is the epitome of the George Strait song "She Let Herself Go."

I’ve stayed here for decades. Always great. Had a bad experience with a night clerk here this time. Parking lot lights were off at night, and I reported it as a possible emergency. It was I treacherously dark. He was not helpful, saying it was up to the city. He chided me for speaking to him while checking someone else in. I felt there might have been something unlawful unfolding. He got condescending, but didn’t realize I’m a lifetime diamond member and know hotel procedures very well. He gave all kinds of excuses. He finally called maintenance, and discovered they were on timers. They were immediately turned on. Bottom line: I felt unsafe in this environment. Not good here.

The room was very clean but small for a suite. The hotel overall appears a bit dated. The location is close enough to restaurants but a 30 minute commute for Razorback game day. The complementary coffee and creamer in the lobby was empty the entire weekend. Even in the morning when you would expect it to be fresh and updated. We stayed here for convenience of airport shuttle and the usual services Hilton provides. When I asked staff about refilling coffee or the complementary waters normally provided I received an attitude. Unfortunately they also ended up having no shuttle service for our airport return requiring us to use uber. We won’t be staying at this hotel again.

This hotel was a joy to stay at. Conveniently located, friendly hotel staff, and we especially loved the comfy bed and relaxing shower with great pressure! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Amy and Kelly were some of the warmest, friendliest, personable and caring front desk attendants we've ever interacted with. The breakfast servers/attendants were very kind and attentive. One of them remembered I drank decaf coffee after one morning of being there. The lobby and first floor floors were impeccably clean and shiny despite the fact that it rained off and on all weekend. Of course, the delicious, warm cookies were available at any time.
