We had a wonderful time at Coulter Farmstead. It’s only about .4 miles from Washington State Park. It’s fun to walk around or just sit on the porch and watch birds or farm animals. The owners are super hospitable people and the vibe is very chill. Would recommend.

Wow!! What a beautiful place that they have created. We were not there nearly long enough. The quite night rocking on the porch, the sweet farm dog, the delicious breakfast that was brought to our door, the adorable farm animals on the property, the perfect mixture of antiques and modern decor and the most comfortable bed we had slept on in awhile all made this a place that we can not wait to get back to.

We needed a break before my husband began radiation treatment for cancer. We headed to Branson, a 10 hr drive from Houston. We needed to stop half way and found this wonderful place. It met every expectation and provided a peaceful, quiet rest. We rocked on the porch, petted their dog, played a board game and really un plugged. This is a 1st class place!!

Gem of a spot for a low key getaway. My family stopped here for a single night on a roadtrip. Beats the heck out of a normal intersate-adjacent chain hotel. The kids loved to novelty of the log cabin and seeing the farm animals. We were able to cook a great supper and breakfast in the kitchen. It was an unexpected and refreshing diversion from the long drive.

My husband and I had our wedding here and it was BEYOND expectations. The staff were truly so sweet and kind. The animals were gorgeous and so cute. Their highland cow - Theodore - was so adorable. He was great to take pictures with. The cabins fit our whole wedding party and some guests and they were very cozy; they take you back in time. Husband and I took a dip in the pool the night before our wedding and it was beautiful at night. I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone. Truly one of the best weeks of my husband and I’s lives. We plan on coming back on our 1st anniversary to reminisce that week.
