This DoubleTree location presents a mixed experience, with significant concerns regarding room conditions, including cleanliness, temperature control, and outdated amenities. However, recent positive feedback highlights a helpful staff and a convenient location for nearby attractions.
The location is great the exterior of the hotel is also appalling but lord the inside needs to be torn down and redone. My kids and I drove from Texas for a 3 day stay and I honestly dont think we will make it 3 nights . The room is absolutely gross , bugs , stains on the sheets and bed just nasty its not sleep ready at all..I just had my first night and im honestly willing to loose my money to find another place its just that bad. The stains on the floor, the repellent smell . Im just so surprised they haven't been shut down . This is not ok . The pool is also closed.
I’m all about being able to park, eat, play, and sleep without having to drive around. We used a debit card for entry to the parking garage, and the same card to exit after our night’s stay. Easy access from the parking garage to the hotel lobby. If you’re taking the elevator from the lobby to parking garage, use the one on the far left. We had a clean room overlooking the bridge, river, and walking trail. The buffet at Bridges restaurant on the first floor was a good option for our party of 7 before seeing the Michel Jackson broadway show next door. They had MJ music playing in the restaurant, a big stand up poster of the MJ show at the entrance, and even some MJ theming on the buffet menu. I liked the collaboration between Doubletree and the event center. It was raining outside, but we were able to stay dry walking out the front doors of the hotel, and down the ramp on the right directly into the event center. We go to a lot of Celebrity Attraction shows in Tulsa. This was our first time attending one in Little Rock. This was a nice alternative. Would totally stay here again. Maybe next time do a little more exploring around the hotel and see what else is nearby within walking distance, and check out the walking trail.
The room was not great. It's so small and there's barely room to move around. Forget dragging a luggage trolley into the room. A lot of things needed to be fixed. The ice machine was gone from our floor too. But the guy at the front desk was great and the location was perfect for the Little Rock Marathon
TLDR: Find another hotel. Rooms are not good. Front desk people are awesome. Very helpful and patient. Food was decent from the restaurant. The rooms are horrible. No waters, but did get them from wonderful lady up front. Ac is set to 67 and room won’t go above 74. Checked with my temp gun to confirm. Two neighbors in the hall said same issue in their rooms as well. No fridge or microwave. Plenty of room for both. Linen and towels have weird stale smell. Great location but I’m on to the next one. Hilton should be concerned about this. Even as a diamond member, there’s nothing the management will do. Don’t fall for the owner replies to these reviews. They won’t do anything about it and just make a copy paste reply.
If it were not for the staff, I would have tried to find another room. We visited about a week ago and most things were shut down due to weather. However, the hotel was not sufficiently heated or prepared. We had friends at other hotels that didn’t have these issues. The lobby, dining area, bathrooms and common areas were freezing. They attempted to use space heaters to no avail. The kitchen was so cold we never got hot bacon. Greased over. I opted for space with the suite. Don’t waste your money. The shower never got above lukewarm, then it would stop and go. I mean completely turn off, then sputter and come back at a colder temperature. I tried to catch the low,low pressure and spurts in the video (notice no steam and all the way to hot). With soap everywhere had no choice but to wait for spurts to rinse off. The sink only trickled water (it did get hot) so we had to move our toothbrushes and washcloths around to catch the water. The 2 stars are for the staff. They were pleasant and tried to help. Although I did hear about 3-4 different versions of boiler, weather, water issues. Hotel is outdated and no signs of any upgrades. Shout out to Kye (bartender), Quita, Melissa and a few others that tried to assist. Giving Hilton the sideeye for this one and looking at my Bonvoy status for future travels. Will not stay here again or recommend this hotel, especially for the charges we incurred. Other hotels in the area had same price, better quality.
