Beautiful area. Unplug in this unique place with our own waterfall out back of our cabin. Secluded. Amazing place.

This place was nothing more than amazing. If you want a secluded place you definitely need to go to this place. It was unique. The beds were comfortable and clean. The views were awesome. The staff, the owners, were all very pleasant. We even seen a bald eagle. We even brought our Sea-Doo went out on the lake. It's best to be in a truck or side-by-side when you're on the property.

Longbow Resort is a unique boutique resort that is remote, secluded and the perfect place to COMPLETELY unplug. There are four different cabins. There are two pairs that are located in close proximity to each other. Three of the cabins are really designed for two people, while one is ready to accommodate four with two queen beds. The individual identity of each cabin has its own charms, but all of them are very connected to the nature around them. The two cabins near a ridge have cell signal IF you walk to the parking area near the ridge for some. The other two have NO CHANCE for a cell signal in the bottom of a valley. For those you would have to drive all the way up to the main field. There is no Internet, satellite, or over the air TV. There is a small selection of DVDs in each cabin, but I highly suggest you bring some DVD if you're interested in watching anything. I also recommend taking board games, cards and more to engage or entertain your time. Each cabin has a fire pit and wood is available on property. I also HIGHLY recommend driving a vehicle with good ground chance and four wheel drive. There are many large bumps, rocks and rough road. Cars or vans with low clearance or poor tire tread could find themselves with problems. With that said, it's a REALLY fun drive if you've got an off road vehicle (we drove in a Ford raptor and it was a BLAST!) I must say that you will not find anywhere quite like Longbow Resort anywhere else. Each cabin has the natural rock and stone built directly into the cabin. It's probably more accurate to say the cabins are built directly into the rock. Both Ben (the owner) and Benjamin (his son who lives on the property) we're EXTREMELY friendly, accommodating and helpful! We got the chance to see a comet while we stayed and it was amazing! Even if the disconnected style of vacation is not traditionally you, you've got to try this place at least once. You'll fall in love with the way these cabins connect with nature and help you unplug from the world and reconnect with people.

We took all of our employees and rented all four cabins for the weekend. My husband and I had been a few times before and absolutely love this place. All of my people did also. We had the BEST time just watching the waterfall and playing in the water and just in amazement of how these cabins were built around boulders.
