Our stay at the Bluegill Bungalow on Lake Galilee was exactly what we hoped it would be. Peaceful, clean, and set in a spot that feels removed from the noise of everything else. The hosts clearly care about the place, and it shows in the way the home is kept and the way the property settles your spirit the moment you step out by the water. Dawn on the lake was unforgettable. A whole little procession of ducks came gliding in with a bigger goose or swan leading them, and they greeted us every morning like old friends. On the first day they got a bit of leftover donut, and by the next morning they were ready for their canned-corn breakfast. It was simple, beautiful, and exactly the kind of quiet retreat we needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone wanting rest, stillness, and a setting that brings a smile without trying.

Amazing views. Top notch cabin. Comfortable beds and furniture. You can't ask for more. *EDIT: I keep going back! The view is unbelievable. You wake up each morning on a lake! I can seriously walk down to the cabin's boat dock and catch enough fish for lunch. The Spring River is a very short drive away and it has the most beautiful surroundings, cold water, and plenty of trout! Hardy, AR has plenty to see and do too. The cabin is perfectly comfortable with a full kitchen and bathroom. The loft is great for a couple and there are additional beds in case you have kids or a couple of buddies with you. The internet is fast and you watch Netflix, etc. or just finish some work away from your office. If you like nice cafes and antique shops, then this place is for you! If you like river adventures by kayak or tube, this place is for you! If you like fishing, fire pits, sunsets on the water, or just hanging out on an elevated deck enjoying time with someone you love, this place is for you.

Let me just say that Bluegill Bungalow is the sort of place you can truly escape to. Not easy to find, but a perfect destination. All the comforts, none of the noise. Hang out and fish off the spacious elevated patio, watch the geese, piddle-paddle around the lake and/or down the nearby rivers. There is plenty to see and do in this beautiful Ozark oasis. Lots of river outfitters nearby! The local town is full of friendly folks and some of the most beautiful country roads, and scenery like you've never seen! If you're an early riser, sip some coffee at sunrise. But the real deal is the peaceful lakeside sunsets. The proprietor is very responsive, flexible and accommodating. Thanks, Justus!
