I have thoroughly enjoyed my stays at the Weekender Cabins. I am definitely a repeat customer. They make everything so easy to rent and enjoy. The cabins are so incredibly well thought-out...from the Keurig to the make-up towels to the tiny toothpaste and the comfy, cozy quilts and beds and big screen TV's....makes staying in on a thunderstorm day a refreshing and relaxing change of pace. I love my stays there and I stay every chance I get.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Weekender Cabins and RV Retreat. The cabin was clean, cozy, and perfect for a quiet little reset. I especially loved that it was pet friendly so Nova could come along and enjoy the trip too. The location was peaceful and made it easy to explore Frontier Town, fish the Fourche La Fave River, and enjoy nearby Lake Nimrod and Petit Jean. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. You can tell a lot of care goes into making guests feel welcome. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with small town charm and easy access to the outdoors, I definitely recommend staying here.

I spent 10 months at the Weekender and you couldn’t ask for a more perfect place to stay if you’re looking to get out into the country and sight see or fish or if you like canoeing or biking. There’s numerous state parks and lakes in the area. Grant does guided fishing trips and knows the best places for smallmouth bass fishing along with canoeing and kayaking and mountain biking. Grant and Elissa are the best hosts period !! Hands Down. If you’re looking for a nice quiet family rv campground then you don’t have look any farther than here. This is our 3rd time staying in these cabins and every time has been great. The cabins are clean, well stocked and in a great location for lake Nimrod. Highly recommend for anyone coming to the area and we will definitely be back to stay here.

What a beautiful place to relax and kick back for a little while. The place is a little off the beaten path, but is a hidden gem. It’s relaxing, quiet, and has all the amenities a seasoned traveler would want. Full hook up RV sites provide options for additional parking and most sites have a comfortable grass yard. Laundry facilities, high speed internet, amazing pricing, and comfortable cabins make this place a very special find. It’s close enough to civilization to get what you need, but far enough away to hide. Great fishing, hunting, and hiking are all around. They have kayaks for you to rent as well! We absolutely loved our stay there in our camper.
