Stayed at the RV Park not the cabins. Very disappointed with the park. No one is on property, no office. Most of the people in the park live there. Garbage was piled up and stinky when you walked by. There are a few nice spots on the river but they were taken. Would not stay there again, even if I had a good spot. We are at White Buffalo resort now which is very close. So much nicer and well maintained.

Copper John's Resort is very friendly and has a great Fly Shop and super nice employees to help you with your fly fishing needs. Also they have a great webcam that makes it awesome when you can't be up there in person. Please support Copper John's and Flys and Guides both local own. Thanks again for the webcam it makes my day each morning when I check it out. K Holley

We took our grandchildren here and stayed in "The Cottage". We really enjoyed ourselves so much! Adam, the proprietor, was so helpful and friendly. He went out of his way to help with whatever we needed. We stayed at The White River Lodge last year in 2025. Wonderful experience there as well. Both were very clean and very comfortable. I just spent a long weekend at Copper John’s Resort in the Rainbow Cabin 1 and it was exactly the peaceful, fishing-focused getaway I was hoping for. The location is unbeatable – the cabin sits just about 100 yards from the water’s edge on the White River, so you’re literally steps from world-class trout fishing. I caught several beautiful rainbows (including a solid 20-incher!), and having the river that close made early mornings and evening sessions effortless. The cabin itself was spotless, cozy, and surprisingly roomy. I loved the comfortable king bed and the large bathroom with a great walk-in shower – plenty of hot water after a day on the river. While it doesn’t have a full kitchen, it’s very well equipped for a fishing cabin: refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and all the basic dishes/utensils you need. The grill on the porch was a highlight. Perfect setup for low-fuss meals without ever leaving the property. The grounds are well maintained and the whole vibe of Copper John’s is relaxed and welcoming to serious anglers (but still comfortable for non-fishing partners). If you’re looking for a quiet, riverfront spot with easy water access and everything you need for a comfortable stay, Rainbow Cabin 1 is a winner. I’m already planning our next trip back in February – highly recommend!

I have stayed here a couple of times with friends and family. We love it here and are already planning our next trip. We love the back deck which overlooks the White River. It is so peaceful and relaxing. We also have found everything we need in the cabin. A great little kitchen and full size washer and dryer. Also, something I appreciate, there is a television with streaming capabilities in almost every room. Great place to stay!!!!
